Recent proposals to increase the salary threshold for work permit holders in Sweden from October 2023 are causing concern for many people who are already living in the country and have a work permit.
The proposed salary increase will have a significant impact on these individuals and their families, as it will make it more challenging for them to maintain their current lifestyle and provide for themselves and their loved ones.
Many people who have already obtained a work permit may find it difficult to meet the new salary requirements, which could put their residency and employment status in jeopardy.
What is at stake is the livelihood and security of thousands of people who have already built a life in Sweden. They have made significant contributions to the country and its economy and are a vital part of the community. If the new proposals are implemented, it could lead to an increase in unemployment, loss of skilled workers, and a negative impact on the economy.
All of the work permit holders came here with a dream to live here by following migrationverket’s criteria. All of a sudden, the new law can not be implemented to them. We should not forget their contributions to the Swedish Economy and GDP. A country can not bring immigrants with a false hope and in the middle of the journey, change the rules and kick them out from the country! The policy makers should not forget the sacrifice that the immigrants make through out the entire process.
We request to the policymakers to think again before implementing the law to the existing people who are already in the system, sacrificing life, time, youth and contributing to make Sweden great.
The work permit holders are stable, paying taxes, contributing to Society, culture and to the Economy.
Varför är det viktigt?
Implementation of new migration policy to the old people who are already are working and living in the system will be injustice. Hundred thousands of people will be affected by this. It may causes divorce, suicide and damage few business industries in Sweden.
